Dear Riders of the Wind:
I have loved reading the reports and testimonies from this weekend’s Positioned for Victory Gathering. I am always grateful for how Holy Spirit chooses to meet with us when we prepare and invite the King of Glory to come in with His Power and Authority.
40 Day Devotional to help us to “Revamp, Receive a
New Vitality, and Move Forward Toward the Promises of the Next Season”
As I was ministering on Saturday morning on Elijah from 1 King 18-19, the
Spirit quickened how Elijah’s initial victory on Mount Carmel was derailed
and how he entered a 40 day season of retreat. I believe the Body of Christ
is entering a 40 day window to get back on track in areas where the enemy
has waylaid us. This is a time to get positioned to overcome the enemy. This
is a time to sing forth in the midst of the enemy’s strategy to take your
inheritance and watch our Lord and His hosts rise up for battle.
Because of that, I will be doing a 40 Day Devotional to help us to “Revamp, Receive a New Vitality, and Move Forward Toward the Promises of the Next Season”. I want to encourage you to read the devotional from your gift mix. For example, I am a seer prophet. I see the Word in operation based upon how I am interceding as a watchman. Therefore, every time I read a passage of the Word, it comes alive based on my intercessory assignment. If your gift is one of service, you will see and hear the word over how you can move forward in your role to serve the Body of Christ. If you have a mercy gift, you will most likely read the devotion, gain a new compassion for the world and enter into creative ways to release healing. Many people never understand the Word because they don’t allow their gift to motivate them in the Word. I feel you must not only read the Word from your gift mix, but you need to see and hear the Word in your spirit. If you do this, you will gain a new reality of spiritual life. I look forward to these next 40 days. I thank God for what He will be doing with us. Beginning tomorrow (Tuesday), let’s devote the next 40 days to be reformed as a new, sharp threshing instrument (Is. 40:15).
An Update on the Land Development from Lee Forest!
As we began preparations to occupy our promised land, transformation came quickly. We started by tearing down old fences and boundaries, and establishing a new road. In the next several days we will begin constructing new fences and boundaries and removing the old gate and expanding our entrance. I have just completed marking the approximate perimeter of the prayer garden. Pam Pierce has the preliminary design done that represents the nation of Israel and the location of each tribe with their appropriate vegetation. We will also be tearing down the poles from an old billboard and erecting a new banner over the land. Enter in with us. Preparation for Head of the Year, including the cost of the tent, is around $200,000. We lack $250,000 to complete our payment for the land. First Prayer Meeting on the Land
This Saturday, August 29, we will be having our first
corporate prayer gathering on the land at 6 AM (CDT). Those of you
in the area may want to join us as we begin to intercede and travail for the
Lord’s plans and purposes for that land to be birthed. We are also planning
a live webcast of that gathering as well. For a complete listing of all of

Following this time of prayer will be a day of “preparing the land”. Pam Pierce and Lee Forest will be leading a team of volunteers in a number of projects to prepare the land for Head of the Year and our future development of those 31 acres.
I am so grateful for the revelation the Lord is releasing to us. Tomorrow
morning we complete our course on Restoring Emotional Health and
Gaining New Strength for the War Ahead! The
Lord created us with emotions, but all too often, we either repress and deny
our feelings or express them in ways that do not promote wholeness.
If we choose to believe the lies the enemy seeks to convince us of, we open
the door to destruction and loss. But God!
I will be reviewing various Biblical leaders and how they correctly or incorrectly displayed their emotions, and ministering on Emotional Models and Timing Expressions. What a powerful weekend! The worship and teaching from Robert Stearns
helped open the way for a shift in sound during the final month of this Samekh
season. Robert Heidler’s messages on “The King is in the Field”
