We are so excited for this week when we celebrate Head of the Year 5770! Work teams have been on the land several weekends to prepare the land, and the tent construction company has been laying the floor of the tent. The crane arrived on Monday night, and as you can see from this picture taken late Monday night, the tent structure began taking shape. The picture on the right shows the tent this morning. By the time you receive this email, we hope the outer covering of the tent will be completed.

The past week we have had a great deal of rain, and the land is very saturated. However, if you will remember, this is a year of the muck and mire. Below are some of the key words sent out through the year about THE MUD! We must remember that mud is what was used to form all of us. The mud is a sign for this season. God is giving us what is necessary to work with as we enter the future.

DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THE MUD AND MIRE ON THE LAND! THIS IS PART OF GOD’S PLAN! WE HAVE PLENTY OF BUSES AND VANS! SO GO DOWN TO THE OUTLET MALL* AND PARK or WAIT AT YOUR DESIGNATED HOTEL** FOR THE VAN. WE ARE EXCITED TO BRING YOU TO THE LAND!

*Since parking will be limited on the land, we have secured additional parking at the Outlet Mall just north of the land on the frontage road. Then busses will carry you to/from the land. Click HERE for that map. Please carpool if possible.

**We will also have a shuttle service running to the following hotels in Denton:

Best Western, Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Courtyard by Marriott, Fairfield Inn & Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn, Quality Inn & Suites, Super 8 Hotel, Travelodge of Denton.

This shuttle service will begin running at 5 PM on Thursday and at 7 AM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A shuttle pickup schedule will be in your hotel lobby.

This directive was sent out in October 2008 …
Do exploits! Optimize resources! Memorize Daniel 11:32 which says “the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and do exploits for God!” Remember to “optimize.” That means to see things from a positive standpoint. To do exploits means to take the resources you have and create new resources or bring them into a new level of fullness. This is one of the things that God means when He says to optimize resources. In a Mudslinging Year (9, the Hebraic character Tet, means Mud and Mire), take all the mud that is being slung and be creative. The Lord was creative with mud. He made us from it! Read Psalm 30 and Genesis 1 and 2.

On February 15, 2009, we communicated the following …
We Have Entered a New Dimension of Warfare! The Lord says, “This will be a week that you’ll have to walk through that mud that has risen around you and into a new level. Do not get stuck this week. You need to know that I am giving you an extra ‘shod of peace’ on your feet that will keep you whole as you move through the muck and mire around you. Do not be lax right now. You are moving in to secure that which will be needed in the next season. I will reorder the way you seek Me. For the next four weeks you will be seeking Me in a new way. I will reorder the way that you’ve heard Me. I will even reorder the plans and the assignments that you presently have. This will be the beginning of the reordering so you can produce what I need produced. Little by little you can retake what the enemy has taken. I am longing to see a manifestation of My promises that I have spoken over you. Little by little you will overtake what is resisting the advancement of your destiny. Rise with Me so I reorder what you are doing. There is a divine reordering of the way you are thinking. There is a divine reordering of where you are walking. There is a divine reordering and your work is changing. There is a divine reordering of the your watching with Me. I will reorder your steps. This will be a time of the divine reordering so I can secure the fields that I have called My people into. The enemy has grabbed hold and plundered your supply, but when I reorder, I will reverse and I will cause the spoils to be handed back into the hands of My children.

“Some of you are saying, ‘I don’t think I can do this. I don’t think I can go up again. I don’t have the strength to go up.’ But I am going to show you weapons that have been hung up. I’m going to show you weapons you’ve never used before. This is the beginning for your next season. You will end strong and begin stronger. There will be truth rising in front of you this week. I will show you how I have put truth down deep in you. This truth has lain dormant until now. Truth will rise up and you will have new thoughts now.

“The worry and the fretful thoughts that have been emanating from you will now change. You have been fearful that you would miss Me or be out of My time! I am reordering your thoughts. I am reordering your steps. I am reordering your prayers. You will pray a thing and develop a new confidence in Me. I am reordering your confidence this hour. Over those little things that have captured and gnawed away at your strength and your productivity, you will now overcome and recapture the spoils that have been taken from the portion I have given you. They will come back into your keeping.

“My people have quit governing the spoils that I have called them to govern. They’ve not had the dominion strategy that I long for them to have. Now I am restoring the government of the spoils back to My people. Many of you have felt disconnected. Many of you have not understood the call of the army. A victorious army moves together into the fields where the spoils have been taken and says, ‘Give it back! Give it back!’ Many of you have allowed your gift to grow cold. You will see your gift coming alive and Me restoring a quality of your gifting that you felt you had lost. This is a time to move forward into a synchronized, victorious understanding of how I will take the fields.”

On June 30, 2009, we heard the Lord say: “Some will say, ‘I have exchanged the muck and the mire for the sandy dryness.’ But you have not seen the power of My calling you forth. I will take you quickly through stages that will bring you into the new place that I have for you. Do not speak against the provision in the muck or in the sand. I will draw you out of a place where you have been working and bring you into a place where you will be ruling.”

I am so grateful for how the Lord communicates with His people. He desires for each of us to hear His voice clearly so we understand the times and the seasons in which we are living.
