Dear Friends and Ministry Alignments:
The Complete Jewish Bible translates 1 Peter 2:9-10 these verses as,
“But you are a chosen people, the King’s
cohanim, a holy nation,
a people for God to possess! Why?
In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness
into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are
God’s people; before, you had not received mercy, but now you
have received mercy.” From this perspective, we are connected
back to the covenant people called out of Egypt by the King of Kings to become
a nation to represent the King in the earth (Ex. 19:6). This really displays
us as a special people, made unique by Him to be used by Him to reveal
Him to the earth realm from generation to generation. Dutch Sheets says,
“Jesus’ statement in John 8:36 is powerful: We can be ‘free indeed.’ … it’s
important that we agree upon what being truly free looks like. Christ
wasn’t talking about a partial freedom, nor was He suggesting a short-lived
temporary liberty. He was speaking of a true, complete, and lasting freedom.
YOU ARE FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE! Therefore, not only are you special,
chosen, peculiar, but you are very unique!”
Special Course! Creationism!
We believe we are in the season of the Lord to contend with the lie
of evolution. There is a natural, scientific process of evolution but
the Theory of Evolution negates God’s creative power. To better understand
the power of humanism in our society, we will begin a three week course on
Creationism led by Al Lookabaugh. The first class will
be this Sunday (September 7) from 2-3 PM in the sanctuary. The remaining
classes will be on the following two Sundays (September 14 and 21). This
course will also be available by webcast.
Special Taping! Enter A New Sphere!
Global Spheres, Inc. is being initiated. We are entering the season to pass
mantles from one generation to the next and from one level of dominion to
the next. On Friday, September 12, I am looking forward to a special taping
with Peter and Doris Wagner. The three of us will be discussing how we see
the apostolic, prophetic movement shifting in the future. If you are local,
you are invited to come and sit through this recording which begins at 9 AM.
